It's Dragonfly Week until 23rd July - but Highland likes to extend the pleasures of dragonfly watching, and so you can join Jonathan Williet at Pitmaduthy Moss, Easter Ross to look for white-faced darters on Sat 29th July. Find out more here. There's also a dragonfly app, to help you with identification.

Pacific salmon seen in Highland rivers.  The fisheries boards request that any caught should be humanely despatched, and ask for any sightings to be reported to them.
